God is always working. Our job is to find what God is up to in the world that we might be a part of that plan and to use the gifts and talents that God has given us to imitate the perfect creation in Jesus to our world.

Questions
I have a new service called Questions which raises the issues that we often have about church, God, religion, etc. I am curious for those who follow my blog if you would be willing to help me in accumulating the lists of questions that my Sunday service can explore. Could you reply to this post? I will endevour to explore them on here as well.

Jeremiah 32:35, Jeremiah 19:5...KJV. Does this negate all knowing and all seeing, not having the thought in His mind? So the serpent, not seen by Him, brings the Sin, Not seen by him, and the fall of man occurs, Not seen by him. Does it not enter His mind? how can something not enter his mind? Socratic method would conclude the Evil more potent than the omnipotent, all seeing all knowing.... Granted I injected human method by using the socratic circle of reasoning... You wanted a question.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your question and it might well make its way into my Questions Sunday night service. The word that is translated across a number of Biblical translations has several meanings including: "inner man, mind, will or heart." I wonder if it is the context that we may not understand well such as the word "fear" in the old Hebrew text really is actually closer to the word "reverence" in today's language. Interpreted as "...it was not on my heart... or ...it was not my will..." certainly seems to fit better in context for our Biblical understanding of an omnipotent God.
